Understanding Alerts
Alerts are the heart of Profixo. Instead of a dashboard you have to interpret, Profixo gives you a short, prioritized list of things that need attention — each graded by severity and confidence.
Severity levels
A confirmed profit leak — money is actively being lost right now. Act soon.
An early warning — a trend or risk that could become a leak if ignored.
An optimization opportunity — not losing money, but there's upside available.
- RED alerts indicate a product or operation that is actively losing money. They're also emailed to you immediately.
- YELLOW alerts flag something trending the wrong way, or a potential leak that's limited by incomplete data.
- INFO alerts point to ways to improve margins that aren't urgent.
All paid plans see RED and YELLOW alerts.
Confidence
Alongside severity, each alert carries a confidence score that reflects how complete the underlying data is:
- High — backed by real cost and order data; the loss is confirmed.
- Medium — based on an estimate, such as a margin fallback or allocated ad spend.
- Low / none — not enough data to confirm; Profixo asks for the missing input.
Severity × confidence
Read them together. A RED, high-confidence alert is a confirmed loss to fix now. A YELLOW, medium-confidence alert is worth reviewing but may need better data first — see Product Costs.
How often alerts change
Profixo re-analyzes daily. New alerts appear when a leak is detected or an existing issue changes severity, and alerts close automatically once the underlying problem is resolved. Learn more in Managing Alerts and Reading an Alert.
