Managing Alerts

Once you've read an alert, you decide what happens to it. Profixo keeps your list focused on what still matters.

Alert actions

Snooze / "Remind me later"

Temporarily hide an alert for a set period. If the issue still exists when the snooze ends, the alert comes back — so nothing falls through the cracks.

Resolve

Mark an alert as handled. Use this when you've applied the fix. If the leak reappears in a future analysis, Profixo will raise a fresh alert.

Ignore

Dismiss an alert you've decided not to act on (for example a loss leader you're running intentionally). Ignored alerts stay out of your main list.

Update cost

When an alert is limited by a missing product cost, enter it directly on the alert to upgrade its confidence. See Product Costs.

Auto-close

Fixed leaks close themselves

When you fix the underlying problem, the alert closes automatically on a following analysis. If Profixo no longer detects the leak across several consecutive daily scans, the alert is auto-closed — no manual cleanup needed.

Alert lifecycle

An alert moves through a simple lifecycle:

  1. Active — a current, detected leak.
  2. Snoozed — temporarily hidden; returns if unresolved.
  3. Resolved / Ignored — handled by you.
  4. Auto-closed — no longer detected across recent analyses.

Staying on top of new alerts

You'll get an email for new RED alerts so you don't have to check the dashboard constantly. Manage those in Email Notifications.
